THE PROBLEM

Reported is not resolved.

The treadmill without an emergency stop, the dripping tap in the changing room, the fire extinguisher with an expired inspection label: a lot gets reported – on notes, by voice message, in passing. And then? Nobody owns it, nobody knows whether the technician has been, and on the next walk-through the same item is on the list again.

Without a history there are no patterns either: nobody sees that machine 04 has failed for the third time this quarter.

THE SOLUTION

Every “not OK” automatically becomes an issue.

In ImpulsCheck the server automatically creates an issue from every check item with the result “not OK” – with checklist, item, time, name and photo if one was taken. Nobody has to write a ticket.

Visible: open issues are listed under “Issues”, per location, with photo and note.
Owned: admins see what is open and mark an issue as resolved once it is fixed – with a timestamp.
Traceable: the history shows which machines or rooms keep coming up. That is the basis for maintenance contracts and replacement decisions.
