Checklist for gyms

Equipment & maintenance – Checklist for gyms

A frayed cable or a treadmill without a working emergency stop is a safety risk, not a detail. The weekly equipment checklist records what was checked, takes faulty machines out of service and documents wear with date, name and photo – alongside the periodic inspection by a competent person, not instead of it.

For iPhone & iPad · priced per location, all staff included

Due Mondays. If it is not done, it stays visible as overdue until the next date, and the admins – plus the people responsible, if you assigned the checklist – get a notification. You can change the start date, rhythm and responsible people afterwards in the editor under “Repeat” and “Responsible”.

BACKGROUND

This weekly checklist complements, but does not replace, the periodic inspection by a competent person. In Great Britain, PUWER requires equipment exposed to deterioration to be inspected at suitable intervals and the result recorded (PUWER regulation 6).
